More Efficient VLR Group Signature Based on DTDH Assumption
نویسنده
چکیده
In VLR (verifier-local revocation) group signature, only verifiers are involved in the revocation of a member, while signers are not. Thus the VLR group signature schemes are suitable for mobile environments. To meet the requirement of speediness, reducing computation costs and shortening signature length are two requirements at the current research of VLR group signatures. A new VLR group signature is proposed based on q-SDH assumption and DTDH assumption. Compared with the existing VLR group signatures based on DTDH assumption, the proposed scheme not only has the shortest signature size, but also has the lowest computation costs , and can be applicable to mobile environments such as IEEE 802.1x.

Shorter Verifier-local Revocation Group Signature Based on Dtdh Assumption
Membership revocation is an important issue in group signature. Verifier-Local revocation (VLR for short) is an effective method. In VLR group signature, revocation messages are only sent to signature verifiers (as opposed to both signers and verifiers). Consequently there is no need to contact individual signers when some user is revoked. Since signers have no load, VLR group signature schemes...

Digital signatures provide authenticity and nonrepudiation. They are a standard cryptographic primitive with many applications in higher-level protocols. Groups featuring a computable bilinear map are particularly well suited for signature-related primitives. For some signature variants the only construction known uses bilinear maps. Where constructions based on, e.g., RSA are known, bilinear-m...
متن کاملBackward Unlinkability for a VLR Group Signature Scheme with Efficient Revocation Check
Verifier-Local Revocation (VLR) group signatures, introduced by Boneh and Shacham in 2004 are a particular case of dynamic group signature schemes where the revocation process does not influence the activity of the signers. The verifiers use a Revocation List to check if the signers are revoked. In all known schemes, checking a signature requires a computational time linear in the number of rev...
متن کاملA Shorter Group Signature with Verifier-Location Revocation and Backward Unlinkability
Group signatures are generalized credential/member authentication schemes with wide applications, such as Trust Computing. Membership revocation problem is a major issue of group signatures. In some applications that group secret keys are stored in tamper resistant chips, a Verifier-Local Revocation resolution is more reasonable than other methods, such as witness based revocation. Boneh et al....
